Rail Roko agitation

This agitation has forced the railway authorities to accept the demand for the change in schedule of the Sadulapur-Hanumangarh Passenger train 04778. On 16th February, when the train entered Hanumangarh station, a public meeting was organised at the station to express the jubilation of the public at the success of their campaign. Expressing their thanks to the railway administration and the loco driver, representatives of the Lok Jan Samiti Ramgarh, Ramgarh Seva Samiti and the Ramgarh Gram Panchayat garlanded the loco driver and distributed sweets to all. At the public meeting, Hanuman Prasad Sharma thanked the railway administration on behalf of all those who had agitated for this demand for fulfillment of the same. The campaign was brought to a conclusion on 28th February. Alongside this, in the context of a large number of people arriving in Gogamarhi, the demand for halting the Sriganganagar Passenger at Gogamarhi station was reiterated.
