Hundreds of IT employees in Bengaluru, under the banner of Karnataka State IT/ITeS Employees Union (KITU) militantly marched from Bengaluru Town Hall to Freedom Park on the occasion of May Day. They demanded 8 hours of work day, strict implementation of all rights of workers, work-life balance, all workers to be treated as respectable human beings and not as slaves, etc.
