The newly published book titled ‘Who Rules India?’ was discussed at meetings of members and supporters of the Communist Ghadar Party of India in many places in India and abroad during September and October. The discussion brought out the importance of this topic, on which a great deal of confusion has been created in order to hide the truth from the people.

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), which had spearheaded the year-long farmers’ protest at the borders of Delhi through 2020-21, has expressed its strong opposition to the central government’s slanderous attack on the farmers’ protests, in the FIR filed against the media portal NewsClick on October 9, 2023. It has issued a strong statement criticising these attacks. The SKM has announced country-wide protests against the central government to condemn these attacks.

The United Nations must ensure the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people for a homeland. It must ensure an end to the occupation of Palestinian territories and ensure the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution for a two state solution. It must ensure the establishment of the state of Palestine, based on pre-1967 borders, with its capital as East Jerusalem. Only this can ensure lasting peace in the region.
Communist and left parties organised a protest action at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on October 10 on this issue. The protest rally gave a powerful call to all the people of our country, to unitedly protest the brazen onslaught of the Central Government on democratic rights, freedom of expression and on the right to conscience.

Seminar in Hanumangarh
A seminar was held on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh on 27th September 2023in Ramgarh sub-tehsil of Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. This was followed by a cultural program. The topic of the seminar was – Relevance of Bhagat Singh’s thoughts in present times. The program was organized under the leadership of Bhagat Singh Memorial Teaching Committee.
