Declaration of All India General Strike:
All India Convention against the anti-worker, anti-people attack of the ruling class

The convention announced an All India General Strike on 20 May 2025.
More than 1000 delegates from workers’ federations from defence plants, steel factories, coal mines, railways, ports and docks, banks, insurance, postal and ASHA-Anganwadi workers’ organizations and other sectors participated in the convention. A delegation from Mazdoor Ekta Committee participated in the convention.

A militant meeting to oppose electricity privatisation and smart meters held in Nashik, Maharashtra

On 22 March 2025, a Conference against Electricity Privatisation and Smart Meters was organized in Nashik (Maharashtra) by Kamgar Ekta Committee (KEC), along with unions of electricity workers, engineers, and officers. Activists of AITUC, CITU, AISF, Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti, Maharashtra State Bank Employees Federation, All India Bank Employees Association, and pension associations also participated in the meeting in big numbers.

Militant struggle of women garment workers against super-exploitation
400 women workers of the Exodus Futura Knit Private Limited, a garment manufacturing company located in Ramchandrapur, 15 km from Kolkata in West Bengal, held a 25-day protest dharna at the factory gates, from February 21 to March 17. Through their relentless struggle, these workers succeeded in forcing the capitalist owner of the company to give them their rightful provident fund and salary dues, which had been illegally withheld for the past five years!
