The farmers have every right to come to Delhi to voice their demands before the Central government. The demand for a legally guaranteed MSP for all crops is a just demand which enjoys the support of the working class and people of our country. The attack by the Haryana police on the farmers at the Shambhu border must be roundly condemned.

Public meeting to mark 32 years after the demolition of Babri Masjid
The protest was jointly organised by Lok Raj Sangathan, Social Democratic Party of India, Welfare Party of India, Communist Ghadar Party of India, Jamaat-e-Islami-Hind, Lok Paksh, Citizens for Democracy, Students Islamic Organisation, Mazdoor Ekta Committee, Purogami Mahila Sangathan, The Sikh Forum, CPI (M-L) – New Proletarian, United Muslims Front, and others. Representatives of participating organisations put forward their views on the issue and on how to take the struggle forward, to put an end to the politics of state-organised communal violence and communal division of the people.

40th anniversary of the Bhopal gas leak disaster
What are the lessons that our people must draw from this calamity? It is that the big capitalists both in India and abroad will stop at nothing to get maximum profits by exploiting our people. On the night of 15 November 2024, at around 10:30 pm, a massive fire broke out in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (SNCU) of Rani Laxmibai Medical College located in Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh. In this fire, 10 new born babies died on the spot. 16 children suffered severe burns. One of them died on November 18.

Joint Arab-Islamic Summit demands immediate end to Israel’s aggression against the Palestinian people
The participants at this summit resolved to “mobilize international support to suspend Israel’s participation in the United Nations General Assembly and all its affiliated entities” and to “call on all countries to ban the export or transfer of weapons and ammunition to Israel”.
