Demand to change passenger train schedule: Demonstration at Nohar Railway station

thumbnailA protest demonstration was organized on 4th April under the leadership of Lok Raj Sangathan at Nohar station in Hanumangadh district. The action was in support of a five-point demand in connection with the demand for change in timing of the Sadalpur-Hanumangadh passenger train 04778.

Several organisations and their leaders participated in this dharna along with Lok Raj Sangathan. A petition was submitted to the Zonal Manager of Western Railways, in the course of the dharna. Representatives of the various organisations addressed the dharna.

Political Forum in Delhi: Note Ban is not in the National Interest

Participants in a Round Table Conference on the theme "Is Demonetisation in the National Interest?" were of the firm view that the Note Ban is thoroughly anti-worker, anti peasant, anti-social and anti-national.

The conference was organised by the Delhi Council of Lok Raj Sangathan on 15th February, 2017. Ms Sucharita conducted the proceedings of the Conference.

Haryana farmers' militant opposition to land acquisition

The Congress Party and its leader Sonia Gandhi have been propagating far and wide that they have found a “solution” to the land acquisition problem which will be both in favour of the capitalists and the farmers. This is supposed to be the “Haryana model” of land acquisition. The on-going struggles of farmers all across the length and breadth of the state of Haryana against the land acquisition moves of the Haryana government have exposed the myth that there is a meeting ground between the farmers struggle for livelihood and the capitalists drive for maximum profits.

100 years ago Ghadar Party was formed by Indians in the US.It was historic milestone in our anti-colonial struggle.

The goal of this party was to organise a revolution to liberate our motherland from British servitude and establish a free and independent India with equal rights for all. It believed this to be the necessary condition for our people to hold their heads high anywhere in the world.

The struggle is between the majority of toiling and exploited people and a minority of exploiters. It is between the majority whose labour expands wealth and the minority who enjoy the fruits of wealth creation on the basis of their private property and positions of power.
