Political developments in Tamilnadu reveal the complete marginalisation of people in this system of parliamentary democracy. ... People are utterly disgusted by the arbitrary actions of the factions of the ruling AIADMK and the interference of the central government. At the same time, they feel helpless in this system which does not allow them any role beyond casting their vote on Election Day.
What is happening in Tamilnadu has once more revealed the reality of parliamentary democracy before the masses of people. It has once more underscored the fact that the present system of democracy only serves the bourgeois class, which is a tiny minority.
Statement of the Central Committee of Communist Ghadar Party of India, 28th August, 2011
The mass agitation has raised the level of consciousness about the fundamental flaw in the existing system of democracy, in which big business interests and their corrupt parties control the Lok Sabha. It has further exposed multi-party representative democracy as a process designed to permit the biggest exploiters, corrupt ministers and officials to loot and plunder our land and labour... The question that has assumed centre-stage by the development of events is where supreme power lies, and where it must lie. Who is sovereign? Is the people’s will supreme or is the will of Parliament or will of Cabinet supreme?
Elections in West Bengal: Bengal needs change of system
The CPI Maoist claims to officially have no faith in parliamentary democracy and has a line of permanent boycott. Its complete opportunism is revealed by its support for the TMC- Congress combine in West Bengal, allegedly to defeat the "main enemy", the CPI(M).
Bengal definitely needs change. The issue is this. Will replacing the Left Front government by a TMC Congress government address the problems of workers and peasants of Bengal? Or the entire political and economic system needs radical transformation? The Communist Ghadar Party of India firmly believes that the entire political and economic system needs radical transformation, a Navnirman of the Indian state and society. The line pursued by the CPI(M) and the Left Front it leads have been a biggest block to this Navnirman.

The first part of this pamphlet is an analysis of facts and phenomena to identify and expose the real aims behind the Note Ban. The second part is devoted to a critical appraisal of the government’s claims that it will reduce inequality, corruption and terrorism. The third part is what Communist Ghadar Party believes is the real solution to these problems and the immediate program of action towards that solution.
100 years ago Ghadar Party was formed by Indians in the US.It was historic milestone in our anti-colonial struggle.
The goal of this party was to organise a revolution to liberate our motherland from British servitude and establish a free and independent India with equal rights for all. It believed this to be the necessary condition for our people to hold their heads high anywhere in the world.
Call of the Central Committee of Communist Ghadar Party of India, 30th August, 2012
Working class representatives from all over the country are gathering on 4th September, at a time when a titanic struggle is going on in our country. The struggle is between the majority of toiling and exploited people and a minority of exploiters. It is between the majority whose labour expands wealth and the minority who enjoy the fruits of wealth creation on the basis of their private property and positions of power.
