US Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Hailey visited India at the end of June and held talks with PM Narendra Modi and other senior ministers. One of the main purposes of her visit was to ensure that India abandons its current close relations with Iran, and stops oil imports from that country.
US President Trump’s trip to 5 countries in Asia in the second week of November – the longest Asia trip by a US President in 25 years -- was aimed primarily at boosting arms sales by the US Military-Industrial Complex and further strengthening US hegemony in Asia. It took place in the backdrop of heightened aggressive US military presence in South Korea, provocations and daily threats directed against the DPRK (North Korea) as well as the slanders by the US administration and the international media under its control against the DPRK for defending its sovereignty.
On 20th November, President Trump officially declared North Korea as a 'state which sponsors terrorism'. North Korea will join the list of countries that the State Department identifies as those that have “repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism.” The list already includes Sudan, Syria and Iran.
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson arrived in Delhi on 24th October night on his 3-day maiden official visit to India. In the course of talks between him and External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, both sides deliberated extensively on further enhancing bilateral defence and security ties as well as ways to deal with challenge of terrorism in the region.
In her speech at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 23, 2017, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said that “Pakistan is recognised only as the pre-eminent export factory for terror”. The foreign Minister’s statement has been accompanied by heightened war mongering by the Indian state against Pakistan.
The article entitled "US unveils strategy for Afghanistan and South Asia: Grave threat to all peoples of the region" in the September 16-30, 2017 issue of MEL is educative and a must for the working class which is constantly bombarded by the Indian ruling class controlled media, the world according to which is one where Pakistan is the epicentre of terror, and that it is the US that is the guardian of democracy in the world, and also in the region. On August 21, US President Trump announced the strategy his government will pursue towards Afghanistan and South Asia. Trump declared that the US would not withdraw its forces from Afghanistan, unlike what was promised by his predecessor Barack Obama. On the contrary, the US would escalate its military intervention in Afghanistan and Pakistan in order to achieve “victory” over the Taliban and various other forces.
With respect to the condemnation of US warmongering and threats against the Korean people, I would like to bring to the attention of your readers that Guam, an island in the Pacific Ocean with a little over 200,000 people is one of the bases for the US military.

He has declared that its armed forces are ready to carry out this threat at any moment.
US President Donald Trump addressed leaders of 50 Islamic states on May 21 in Saudi Arabia, during his first foreign trip as President. As the leader of US imperialism, the main source of terrorism in the world today, Trump’s speech on “countering terrorism” was full of hypocrisy, lies and false assertions. Its aim was to attempt to cover up the reality that US imperialism remains the fountainhead of terrorism and of organizing, funding, training and unleashing terrorists groups in various parts of the world, in order to advance its geo-political strategy for world domination.

Communist Ghadar Party of India condemns this inhuman barbaric act. It is an act designed to inflame passions and war hysteria against Pakistan. It has led to a setback to all initiatives from India and Pakistan to move towards normalisation of relations, including cultural exchanges.
In the middle of March, the US and South Korean armed forces conducted one of the biggest ever military exercises in the Korean peninsula, targeted at North Korea. Seventeen thousand US troops joined over three lakh South Korean troops in war games conducted over air, sea and land. They practiced attacking North Korea with nuclear weapons. US Special Forces (SEALS) practiced for a mission to assassinate the North Korean political and military leadership and carry out regime change there.

On August 17, 2014, political activists from different organisations in North India gathered in a meeting in New Delhi on the theme, “US Asia Policy, Question of Sovereignty and We the People”. Representatives of over a dozen parties and organisations participated actively in the deliberations. More than 35 delegates addressed the meeting.

The UN Human Rights Council passed a U.S. sponsored resolution against Sri Lanka at its 22nd session at Geneva on March 21, 2013. In the 47 member UNHRC, 25 voted in favour of the resolution, 13 voted against it, while 8 members abstained. India voted in favour of the resolution.

Condemn US imperialist intrigue and meddling in India and the region!
The visit of Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State, to India in early May was an occasion for the US imperialists to apply pressure on India to further their own nefarious interests, and to intrigue and meddle in our internal affairs and in the affairs of this region.
In the middle of April 2012, India successfully test fired a long-range ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, the Agni-5. Agni 5 has been declared to be an Inter Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). It was launched from the Andhra Coast and landed successfully in the Southern Indian Ocean over 5000 km away. The monopoly media immediately was ecstatic on two counts.
August 6th, 2011 marks the anniversary of the terrible crime committed by the United States against the Japanese people - civilian men, women and children. 66 years ago, the US dropped atom bombs on two towns of Japan. On August 6, 1945, the atom bomb was exploded over Hiroshima, and on August 9, 1945, over Nagasaki.

Yesterday's blasts come at a time when India and Pakistan are seriously engaging each other in dialogue to solve outstanding problems. The Pakistani government and people wants friendship with India at a time when Pakistan's sovereignty is in danger from the grave threats US imperialism is posing.
The government and people of Pakistan have every right to defend their sovereignty!
The ruling circles of our country are also myopic and self serving. They do not want to admit that it is the US that was and remains the fountainhead of terrorism world wide, as well as in our region, and that Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries are the victims of this.
