The struggle against communalism and communal violence must be waged with the aim of replacing the existing state of bourgeois rule by a new state of workers’ and peasants’ rule. We need a state that will protect the lives and rights of all human beings, without exception, and severely punish those who violate any human right.

State Elections:
 Dragging politics to the lowest level

Elections, whether for the central parliament or state assemblies, will remain a tool for legitimising the rule of the bourgeoisie until and unless the domination of parties backed by big money power is ended; and the political process is transformed to bring decision-making power into the people’s hands. Only then can the economic system be transformed from being oriented to fulfil capitalist greed to being oriented to fulfil the people’s needs.

Successful conclusion of the 32nd Ghadari Mela in Jalandhar dedicated to the anti-imperialist struggle

Bhagat Yadghar Hall in Jalandhar, Punjab from 30th October to 1st November 2023. Taking the anti-imperialist tradition of the Ghadari Babas forward, the Mela was dedicated to the anti-imperialist struggles of the people. Meetings were organised during the Mela to discuss current issues facing the people, which included Israel’s genocide against the people of Palestine in order to smash their just struggle and state terrorism organised against the people of Manipur.
