Numerous federations of workers’ unions covering major sectors the economy, including banking and insurance, machinery and equipment manufacture, railways, port and docks, road transport, health and education, have announced their decision to organise an All-India General Strike on 28th February. It has been called to assert the common immediate demands of the working class, including enhanced minimum wages, protection and extension of pension benefits, rejection of proposed labour law reforms in favour of the capitalists, halt to privatisation, measures to bring down food prices and the demand for a universal Public Distribution System.
The Communist Ghadar Party welcomes this decision and calls on all activists of the working class to strive for the success of the All-India General Strike!

The Fourth Congress of the Communist Ghadar Party of India was convened in the last week of October 2010.
The Report of the Fourth Congress was presented by Comrade Lal Singh on behalf of the Central Committee elected by the Third Congress. It was discussed at length and adopted by the Congress. It was been edited for publication by the decision of the Fourth Congress. This publication also contains the Resolutions adopted by the Fourth Congress.
This document entitled Towards the Rule of Workers and Peasants and a Voluntary Indian Union contains the Report of the Central Committee presented by Comrade Lal Singh, General Secretary of the Communist Ghadar Party of India, which was discussed and adopted by the Third Congress of the Party, held in January 2005.
This keynote speech, entitled "Crisis of Capitalism and the dangerous course of the Indian State points to the urgency for communists to prepare for the proletarian revolution!", was delivered by Comrade Lal Singh, General Secretary of CGPI, on behalf of it's Central Committee at a conference of Indian communists in Nov 2002. The conference, convened to discuss issues concerning the Indian State and Revolution where it's principal aim was to theoretically and ideologically arm the writers, readers and distributors of Mazdoor Ekta Lehar and People’s Voice.
This paper, entitled Only Communism Can Save India! was presented by Comrade Lal Singh, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Ghadar Party of India, at the Kanpur Communist Conference, 2000. The publication also includes the resolution adopted at the Kanpur Communist Conference, 2000.
This report entitled Preparing for the Coming Storms Challenge Facing Indian Communists, presented by Comrade Lal Singh, General Secretary of the Communist Ghadar Party of India, on behalf of its Central Committee, was discussed and adopted at the Second Congress of the Communist Ghadar Party of India, held in October 1998.
The publication also includes a Summary of the Proceedings of the Second Congress of the CGPI, the Resolutions adopted by the Second Congress and the Messages of Greetings received from sister parties and organisations.

convened in New Delhi on January 24-25, 1998. It consists of two discussion papers, on the objective and subjective conditions of the working class movement respectively, and the plan of action of the CGPI based on the analysis of these conditions which was approved by the Enlarged Plenum.
