May Day 2013: Workers vow to continue the struggle to hold the Red Flag aloft!
Across the entire country - in cities, towns and industrial areas, workers united on May 1st, International Workers' day, to pledge to intensify their struggle in defence of their rights and to keep the red flag aloft in memory of the Chicago martyrs. Huge rallies and meetings were organized on this occasion, throughout the country.
May Day celebrated at the central office of the CGPI
Comrades, activists, sympathizers of Party gathered early morning at the party central office on 1st May 2013 to celebrate the May Day and pay their tribute to the martyrs of Chicago. The office was decorated with red flags and banners.
May Day observed enthusiastically all over India
Joining their working class brothers and sisters all over the world, the workers of India observed May Day 2013, with vigour, throughout the length and breadth of the country, from Srinagar to Trivandrum, from Mumbai to Imphal.
May day celebrated enthusiastically in Tamilnadu
The Kanyakumari District Committee of the CGPI organized a public meeting at Puthan Sandhai junction to celebrate May Day.
The workers who had gathered for the meeting were addressed by a number of comrades of the Party and the Workers Unity Movement. They explained how the governments at the center and in the state were in the service of the biggest capitalists.
Workers Unity Movement organizes May day Program in Chennai
At the initiative of the Thozhilalar Ottrumai Iyakkam (Workers Unity Movement), many trade unions and organizations came together to celebrate May Day in Chennai.
May Day enthusiastically celebrated in Mumbai
On the afternoon of May Day, hundreds of workers gathered at Azad Maidan, carrying red flags and the banners of their Unions. There were engineering workers, teachers, bank and insurance workers, seamen, state Govt employees, unorganised sector workers etc.

May Day observed vigorously all over the world
Innumerable rallies, marches, demonstrations and meetings took place all over the world on May Day 2013. From Jakarta to New York, from Caracas to Dhaka, millions of workers came on to the streets to celebrate their unity and to reaffirm their vow to end the exploitation of man by man.

May Day celebrated enthusiastically all over the world
Workers all over the world participated in public rallies and demonstrations on May 1, 2012, voicing their resistance to the all-sided attacks on their rights. They reaffirmed their resolve to put an end to the capitalist system and establish in its place a system free from all forms of exploitation.

The first part of this pamphlet is an analysis of facts and phenomena to identify and expose the real aims behind the Note Ban. The second part is devoted to a critical appraisal of the government’s claims that it will reduce inequality, corruption and terrorism. The third part is what Communist Ghadar Party believes is the real solution to these problems and the immediate program of action towards that solution.

There is growing realisation among workers, peasants and other self-employed people that the program of liberalisation and privatisation only serves to enrich an exploiting minority at their expense. Mass resistance is growing to this anti-worker, anti-peasant and anti-national program. However, the working class is being prevented from realizing its potential as the leader of all the exploited, and as the grave-digger of capitalism, by those in the communist movement who are spreading harmful illusions and compromising the class struggle.
