The interview of Com Lal Singh by Chandra Bhan, editor of Mazdoor Ekta Lehar was distributed widely among workers, peasants, students, youth, teachers, women, doctors, and professors. Copies of this interview were distributed in thousands in Delhi, Mumbai, Kanyakumari, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and in Delhi University, JNU, Jamia Millia University, Aligarh Muslim University, Khalsa University, Lovely University and Guru Nanak University. Everyone who read it, said that this Party is the genuine descendant of the Ghadaris, and can liberate India from the stranglehold of the capitalists.

This interview was published in the context of the 16th Lok Sabha elections in the country. The bourgeoisie is using these elections to bring that government to power which will best implement its programme of globalisation through liberalisation and privatisation. The interview exposes very effectively the reality of the Indian state machinery, corruption, privatisation, liberalisation, globalisation and the Constitution. This machinery works in the interests of Indian capitalists. It loots the country's workers and peasants and fills the coffers of the capitalists.

Whichever government has been in power or whichever government will now come to power, they have no choice but to implement the bourgeoisie's programme of privatisation, liberalisation and globalisation.

This interview shows the way forward to workers and peasants for taking the politics and economy of our country in a new direction. As we distributed this pamphlet, we saw that it was addressing the various questions in people's minds, like on corruption, Lok Sabha elections, surplus value, centralisation of political power, the role of imperialists in India, Lokpal, democratic centralism, modern political theory, Eurocentrism and the Aam Aadmi party. That is why people were willing to even contribute towards its cost, and were reading it carefully and participating in the discussions. This was the case wherever it was distributed, as in bus stations, universities, hospitals, metro stations and wherever else. The people surrounded the activists of the Party as they distributed the pamphlet and expressed their appreciation for its content, saying that no other communist party is raising such issues. They were in agreement with the answers of Com. Lal Singh. Likewise university professors were very happy to know that such a Party existed which is basing its work on Indian theory and has been working to build communist unity.

We saw that people are very angry about this capitalist system and the parliamentary parties. It is positive that people want change. To bring about such a change and to realise their aspirations, people must unite around the working class programme for the elimination of capitalism.
