Jal Board connection for every home!

On 28th August, the Communist Party of India, the Communist Ghadar Party of India and Lok Raj Sangathan organized a day long demonstration in support of their demand for Jal Board water connection and sewer line in the resettlement colony of Madanpur Khadar. The demand of the residents was water connection to every home and the laying of sewer lines in the entire colony. A signature campaign was also organized in the course of the demonstration.

Speakers from the parties pointed out that it is nearly 16 years since people were resettled in this colony, and yet they have neither been provided with drinking water nor with sewer connections. There has been a constant dearth of basic facilities. Lok Raj Sangathan’s speaker called on the people to establish Lok Raj Samitis, which will select and put up the candidate from their areas for election. The Lok Raj Samiti will also have the right to recall the elected candidate if he does not carry out his work.
