Efforts for water conservation

Johad which is situated in the Holika Chawk of Ramgad village in Rajasthan has been struggling with garbage issues for very long. On 14th July 2019, the residents of the village began efforts to conserve water on their own. Lok Jan Samiti, Ramgad Seva Samiti, Gram Vikas Committee, and a large number of residents of the village participated in efforts to clean up the garbage in the area. As part of the campaign the residents of the village are ensuring that they contribute by ensuring that plants are grown and taken care of in public spaces, rain water is collected, growing pollution is prevented and cleanliness is maintained in Johad.

National Vice President of Lok Raj Sangathan, Hanuman Prasad Sharma, President of Lok Jan Samiti, Krishna Nokhwal, President of Gram Vikas Samiti, Nathuram Hodkashiya, Secretary of Ramgad Seva Samiti, Palaram Bhambhu, Vice Sarpanch, Chetram Lakesar, Darmpal Khati, Mituram, Girdhari Singhatiya, Pannalal, Kailasha Swamy, Kuldeep Bhambhu, Advocate Om Sahu, Kanahiyalal Jain, Rammurti, Balwant Bhambhu, Maniram Lakesar, Krishna Sagar, Khiraj Banwari Hodkashiya, Moman Saharan, Ramchandra Khasi, Chetram, Lalchand Nai, wholeheartedly participated in the above mentioned campaign and struggle.

Manifesto 2014There is growing realisation among workers, peasants and other self-employed people that the program of liberalisation and privatisation only serves to enrich an exploiting minority at their expense. Mass resistance is growing to this anti-worker, anti-peasant and anti-national program.
