Protests continue for health services

The members of the Samiti presented a petition to the Minister of Health, demanding the filling of vacant posts, provision of X-ray machines, CBC machines and other instruments and construction of residential quarters for the employees of the CHC.

According to the Samiti members, the government claims to be raining money on the provision of health services to the people, but there is no visible change in the conditions of the health centres. They admitted that Ramgadh does have a health centre, but for the longest time it has been operated by a single doctor. Tall claims are being made about schemes for diagnostics, but adequate instruments to carry out the tests are not there in the CHC. There is no question of diagnosing illnesses in such a situation.

They warned the government that they will intensify the agitation if condition of the health centre is not improved soon.

Vice President of Lok Raj Sangathan, Hanuman Prasad Sharma, Ram Prasad Jangid, Maniram Nain, Kanhaiyya Lal Jain, Maniram Lakesar, Palaram Bhambhu, Dinesh Swami, Suraj Bhambhu, Bhim Saharan, Ram Singh, Pradip Kumar, Surdeep Khati, Manjit Bhamhbu, Devendra Sharma, Babloo Dev, Devakinandan Khichad, and others participated in the protests.
