It is worth reminding ourselves of the fundamental contributions of Lenin

I am writing to thank you for carrying the instructive article entitled `The fundamental teachings of Lenin remain valid and are extremely relevant today!’ written to mark the 143rd birth anniversary of V. I. Lenin on April 22, 2013.  The science of Marxism-Leninism is valid and operates today indeed as it was and did at the time of Lenin and the establishing of the USSR after the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917.  Even today the revolution brings great hope and joy to the hearts of millions around the world choking under the yoke of capitalism.  More than even before, the world is struggling to get rid of the shackles imposed on it by the world capitalist system. The laws of capitalist development discovered by Karl Marx operate today and the inherent contradictions in capitalism will forever have in them germs of their own destruction.  As discovered by these pioneers, the system has inherent to it competition, war and destruction and vast suffering for the masses.  Indeed, it was shown that it is possible for the working class to come to power and to establish its own system.  Why should this not be possible again?  This is not possible so long as there is conciliation to bourgeois pressure which argues that proletarian revolution is not necessary.

At this time it is worth reminding ourselves of the fundamental contributions of Lenin.  Let us prepare for the coming revolutions.

Sincerely,

S. Nair, Kochi

Manifesto 2014Unite around the program to reconstitute the Indian Republic and reorient the economy to ensure prosperity and protection for all!

There is growing realisation among workers, peasants and other self-employed people that the program of liberalisation and privatisation only serves to enrich an exploiting minority at their expense. Mass resistance is growing to this anti-worker, anti-peasant and anti-national program.
