Hail the nation-wide Satyagraha

I read with great joy the report carried in the March 1-15, 2015 issue on MEL on the call for a nationwide Satyagraha 26th February, 2015. It was heartening to read that thousands of workers gathered on Parliament Street to fight for their demands. It is also heartening to read that in less than a year since the BJP-led NDA Government has come to power, the people of India are (yet again) completely disillusioned with the government and its activities. While there may be a degree of awareness in conscious circles of the population on the true nature of bourgeoisie democracy, life experience teaches the working people in manifold ways on a daily basis

It is commendable that in the prevailing fascistic environment trade union leaders and other working class leaders are continuing the fight and are refusing to bow to the dictates of the bourgeoisie. I am pleased to know that Com. Prakash Rao was included in the distinguished panel of speakers who addressed the demonstrators. This proves that the party guided by its revolutionary ideology is very much in the thick of things and is participating in the continuing and intensifying struggle of the working people against the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie. I am pleased to know that the trade leads agree that the future strategy is one where the capitalist government be brought to its knees.

I am sure that this day is not far. I thank you once again for this enlightening report.

Sincerely,

S. Nair, Kochi

Call of the Central Committee of Communist Ghadar Party of India, 30th August, 2012

Working class representatives from all over the country are gathering on 4th September, at a time when a titanic struggle is going on in our country. The struggle is between the majority of toiling and exploited people and a minority of exploiters. It is between the majority whose labour expands wealth and the minority who enjoy the fruits of wealth creation on the basis of their private property and positions of power.
