We mourn the passing away of Comrade Fidel Castro

Comrade Fidel Castro

(August 13, 1926 – November 25, 2016)

With deep sorrow, the Communist Ghadar Party of India learned that Comrade Fidel Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution, breathed his last at 10.29 pm Cuban time on Friday November 25, 2016. He was 90 years of age at the time of his passing away.

The Communist Ghadar Party extends its profound condolences to Comrade Raul Castro, to the Communist Party of Cuba and the entire Cuban people, and to the family of Comrade Fidel Castro on this sad occasion.

The Cuban Revolution that Comrade Fidel Castro led, and which is still continuing, has ensured freedom, dignity and social progress for the Cuban people. It is a revolution that has inspired and continues to inspire people all over the world to defy imperialism and all forces that block the progress of humankind.

Comrade Fidel guided the Cuban revolution successfully through all the twists and turns of the world revolutionary movement. Comrade Fidel will always be remembered for his profound internationalism, his humanism, his commitment to principles. The words and deeds of Comrade Fidel Castro will live forever as a shining example for the peoples of all continents who are fighting to establish a new world, free from exploitation and plunder, imperialist wars, and the oppression of nations and peoples.

We salute the life of Comrade Fidel Castro.

100 years ago Ghadar Party was formed by Indians in the US.It was historic milestone in our anti-colonial struggle.

The goal of this party was to organise a revolution to liberate our motherland from British servitude and establish a free and independent India with equal rights for all. It believed this to be the necessary condition for our people to hold their heads high anywhere in the world.
