They exposed Prime Minister Modi’s so-called ‘affection for Dalits’ by citing the examples of atrocities committed against Dalits. While denouncing the increasing violence against women in Haryana and across the entire country, the leader of the Samta Mulak Sangathan gave many examples of how the government, police and judiciary always protect the guilty instead of punishing them. Over the past four years, the relentless persecution of the Maruti workers by levelling false cases against them was criticized by the leader of the Mazdoor Sahyog Kendra.
A call was given for united struggle against the change in labour laws, repression of workers’ struggles and the violation of workers’ rights. The leader of the MGNREGA Mazdoor Union described the plight of workers by reciting a poem.
The leader of the Jan Sangharsh Manch and regional secretary of the Shramjeevi Sangharsh Morcha, Comrade Somnath gave a call to redouble the movement against the anti-worker policies of the Haryana government.
