Inauguration of a progressive library on the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh

On 28 September, 2017, the occasion of Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s birth anniversary, the Jan Chetna Manch, Jakhal inaugurated the opening of a library for the local residents in the memory of freedom fighters, at the grain market in Jakhal city, Haryana.

On this occasion, many people participated in the program. The program was begun by placing flowers on a bust of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Along with the head of the Jan Chetna Manch, Brijpal, many people put forth their views. They severely criticised the attacks on common people and small and medium businesses and traders through demonetization and introduction of GST. Speakers highlighted the increasing privatisation being introduced by the government in the health and education sectors. They said that the State wants to divert people’s attention away from their anti-people policies by dividing people on communal lines and spreading hate among them.

Satish Bhola, head of the Embroidery Association of Jakhal grain market, Suresh Garg, the deputy head, Mahavir, the tehsildaar. Narendra Kumar, the BDPO, Ramjilal, the secretary of the Market Committee, Karnail Khippal, the chairman of the organization, Jarnail Singh Siroye, the secretary, Akshay Aroda, Anu Gandhi, Pradip Kakkar, Surendra Mittal, the former Sarpanch, Hardev Kumar, Sarpanch, Mangat Ram, social worker Ashish Bhansal, etc. actively participated in the meeting.

100 years ago Ghadar Party was formed by Indians in the US.It was historic milestone in our anti-colonial struggle.

The goal of this party was to organise a revolution to liberate our motherland from British servitude and establish a free and independent India with equal rights for all. It believed this to be the necessary condition for our people to hold their heads high anywhere in the world.
