On this occasion, the ex-President of the Fatehabad District Bar Association, Dharampal Jhakhal said that the government has completely failed to solve the parali problem. He explained that in the name of managing parali the government is offering subsidy on the ‘Happy Seeder’ but this machine is totally useless.

Addressing the gathering, member of the All Indian Council of Lok Raj Sangathan, Mr. Brijpal Adhival said that instead of strengthening the political leaders and parties, those people and organisations fighting for people’s rights should be strengthened.

Farmers said that because of the problems of parali they have to bear a loss of Rs.15000 per acre. They demanded that the government should either set up an industry that would utilize parali or give compensation per acre to the farmers, if it is serious about solving the problem of parali,.

The dharna was addressed by various leaders including Mandeep Nathwan, Krishna Gorakhpuriyaji, Umed Lohan, Retd. BDPO Dilbaug Hudda, Manphul Singh, Tajinder Ratiya, Paramjeet Lali, Gurbachan Singh and Sukhchain Takhera.
