The Hindustan Ghadar Party, which was formed by Indian immigrants in North America and dared to organise a revolutionary uprising that shook the British Empire in 1915-16, has inspired several generations of Indian revolutionaries. It inspired Shaheed Bhagat Singh and other revolutionaries during the twenties and the following decades. In the sixties and seventies, it inspired communists to organise among Indians abroad in support of the Indian revolution and against racist attacks. It continues to inspire and guide the work of the Communist Ghadar Party of India and others who are striving to liberate Indian society from all forms of exploitation and enslavement.

First published in Jan 2017Facts and events are analysed to expose the real aims of the note ban. The pamphlet goes on to critically examine the claims of the Government that the note ban will eliminate corruption, terrorism and the chasm between the rich and the poor. The real solution to the problems are explained in the last part of the pamphlet along with the immediate program to reach the solution.

(First published March 1996, Reprinted August 2016)The report Whither India? was presented by Lal Singh, General Secretary of the Communist Ghadar Party of India, on behalf of its Central Committee, at the Third Consultative Conference of CGPI held in Delhi on December 23-24, 1995. The report was released for discussion in March 1996, by decision of the Third Consultative Conference. Subsequently the Central Committee adopted this report and the Second Congress of the Party, held in October 1998 considered it to be a major landmark in the work to establish the General Line for this period.

- Documents of the 4th Congress of the Communist Ghadar Party of India
The Fourth Congress of the Communist Ghadar Party of India was convened in the last week of October, 2010.
The Fourth Congress consisted of delegates from all across the country and from Indians resident abroad. The majority of delegates were from the working class. About half of them were less than 25 years of age and about a third of them were women.
The Report to the Fourth Congress was presented by Comrade Lal Singh on behalf of the Central Committee elected by the Third Congress. It was discussed at length and adopted by the Congress. It has been edited for publication by the decision of the Fourth Congress.
The Fourth Congress elected the new Central Committee which held its fi rst meeting and re-elected Comrade Lal Singh as the General Secretary and Comrade Prakash Rao as the Spokesperson of the Party.

This document entitled Towards the Rule of Workers and Peasants and a Voluntary Indian Union contains the Report of the Central Committee presented by Comrade Lal Singh, General Secretary of the Communist Ghadar Party of India, which was discussed and adopted by the Third Congress of the Party, held in January 2005.This document also includes the Constitution of the CGPI which was adopted at the Third Congress. Two brief notes entitled “About the Communist Ghadar Party of India” and “The Genesis of the Communist Ghadar Party of India” which were approved by the Congress are included for publication.
The Resolutions adopted at the Third Congress and the messages of greetings of sister parties who attended the Congress are also included in this publication.

First published in March 1998This document, Breaking the Barriers to Unity, is the product of the deliberations of the Enlarged Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Ghadar Party of India, convened in New Delhi on January 24-25, 1998. It consists of two discussion papers, on the objective and subjective conditions of the working class movement respectively, and the plan of action of the CGPI based on the analysis of these conditions which was approved by the Enlarged Plenum.
