Countrywide demonstrations in support of the long-pending demands of rail loco-pilots

On 18 October, the rail loco-pilots organised under AILRSA demonstrated for implementation of the old pension scheme (OPS) and in support of their long-pending demands. These demonstrations were organised in 16 zones of the Railways, all across the country.

Inhuman working conditions of track maintainers of Indian Railways due to huge vacancies

In the wake of the on-going agitation of loco-pilots of Southern Railways, the large number of vacancies of loco-pilots has become an important issue. The agitation has created an intense pressure on the Indian Railways as a result of which very recently the Railway Board has announced that more than 16,000 vacancies of Assistant Loco-pilots will be filled up.

Support the just struggle of the loco pilots of the Southern Railway!

Loco pilots of various Divisions of Southern Railway, under the banner of the All India Loco Running Staff Association (AILRSA), organized demonstrations in front of all Divisional Offices of Southern Railway on 5th April 2024. Earlier, on 4th April, a letter was handed over on behalf of Shri K S Sreeju, Secretary, AILRSA Palakkad Division to the General Manager, Southern Railway, in which they brought out the injustice they have been facing and also outlined their future course of action.
