Workers are pointing out that the OSH Code greatly aggravates the already deplorable conditions that workers in all sectors face, in terms of their health, safety and working conditions at the workplace. It is a grave violation of the workers’ right to life and dignity. It is being resolutely opposed by trade unions cutting across party affiliation, and by workers and their organisations in all industries and services.

Nurses of Delhi threaten indefinite strike in support of their demands
Hundreds of nurses, organised under the banner of the Delhi Nurses Federation (DNF) held a strike from 9 am-11 am each day, on November 4, 5 and 6, demanding regularisation of services and long-due promotions. The DNF has also announced that they will go on mass casual leave on November 16 and go on an indefinite strike from November 30, if their demands are not met.
