Stop the violation of all safety norms and procedures by any railway authority for the accidents in the Indian Railways!

Fill all vacant positions in the safety category in Indian Railways!

India is rapidly becoming the railway accident capital of the world. The frequency of accidents is alarming both passengers and rail workers.

Workers’ lives and health are completely dispensable in the prevalent capitalist system

According to news reports, over 30 workers on construction sites or engaged in sewer cleaning, lost their lives in various work sites across the country in one week in March (16th March-22nd March) alone. The actual number of deaths is likely to be much higher, as a very large majority of such cases never get reported.

The state must ensure safe, healthy working conditions for all workers

The OSHW code is a blatant attack on the safety, health and dignity of workers. It has been roundly condemned by all trade unions and workers’ organisations in every sector. Workers are demanding repeal of this anti worker law. They are demanding that the state ensure safe, healthy working conditions for all workers.
