No justification for the State to attack a place of worship!

An attack on one is an attack on all!

Statement of the Central Committee of Communist Ghadar Party of India, 22nd May 2017

It was a communal act, an act of blatant interference of the State in a religious congregation. It was an act of the highest criminal degree, in violation of all accepted principles of governance. The State, whose core duty is supposed to include protecting its citizens’ lives and their right to any form of religious worship, sent its army to attack a place of worship, killing thousands of its own citizens assembled there.

Workers, peasants, women and youth unite in struggle for political empowerment in Rajasthan

Such an event took place recently, at the initiative of the Rajasthan Council of Lok Raj Sangathan, a non-party political organization committed to the cause of bringing people to power.

US President Donald Trump addressed leaders of 50 Islamic states on May 21 in Saudi Arabia, during his first foreign trip as President. As the leader of US imperialism, the main source of terrorism in the world today, Trump’s speech on “countering terrorism” was full of hypocrisy, lies and false assertions. Its aim was to attempt to cover up the reality that US imperialism remains the fountainhead of terrorism and of organizing, funding, training and unleashing terrorists groups in various parts of the world, in order to advance its geo-political strategy for world domination.

China’s Belt and Road Initiative

Thumbnail-BRIChina formally showcased its Belt and Road Initiative at a Summit meeting held on May 14-15 in Beijing.

Presidents and Prime Ministers from 28 countries including Russian President Vladimir Putin, and ministers from another 30 countries including from Britain and Germany attended the summit. Ambassadors from at least 40 other countries also participated.

Growing joblessness in the country

Thumbnail-JobsThe India Exclusion Report 2016, released by the New Delhi-based Centre for Equity Studies (CES) on 12th May 2017, citing Labour Ministry Data, says that says that employment creation in 2015 plummeted to 135,000 jobs compared to 930,000 in 2011. Even worse, existing jobs, especially in the IT sector, are being lost as thousands of workers were laid off in 2016, and the trend is set to continue this year.

Struggle of construction workers in Haryana

Thumbnail-Kurukshetra marchOn 9th May 2017 in Kurukshetra, hundreds of activists from the Construction Workers and Mechanics Union held a rousing demonstration in front of the District Collector’s office to protest the anti worker policies of the Haryana government and the Labour Welfare Board. These workers are primarily from the unorganised sector and have been completely excluded from the ambit of government labour laws.

Militant strike of State Transport Corporation workers in Chennai

Thumbnail Chennai strikeAbout 1.5 lakh state transport workers of Tamilnadu went on an indefinite strike from 14th May 2017. These workers operate about 23,000 buses all over the state and carry about 2.25 crore passengers/commuters every day. They were protesting non-payment of wages and retirement dues.

History of Ghadar PartyA Presentation of Communist Ghadar Party of India

100 years ago Ghadar Party was formed by Indians in the US.It was historic milestone in our anti-colonial struggle.

The goal of this party was to organise a revolution to liberate our motherland from British servitude and establish a free and independent India with equal rights for all. It believed this to be the necessary condition for our people to hold their heads high anywhere in the world.
