On 2nd August the Bhadra Unit of Rajmistri Mazdoor Samiti organised protest demonstration and public meeting against the introduction of bills to amend the labour laws in Lok Sabha on 23rd July 2019.
The protestors demanded the withdrawal of these anti-worker bills and raised slogans against them. They carried placards in their hands condemning the bills.

A public meeting was addressed by the representatives of the workers. The All-India Vice President of Lok Raj Sangathan, Guruji Hanuman Prasad Sharma, was one of the speakers.
Speakers stressed that these bills being introduced for the amendment of labour laws are completely anti-worker. They are an outright attack on the rights of the workers and a tactic aimed at taking away all the rights that the workers have gained through consistent struggle. The aim of the bills are to intensify the exploitation of the workers, to arbitrarily dismiss the workers, to bring down the wages, and escape from providing basic working conditions and facilities to the workers and to make it easier for capitalists. Workers all across India are agitated over these amendments and are waging a militant struggle against the bills. Many protest demonstrations are being organised all across the country.
The representative from Mazdoor Union Bhadra, demanded that the bills tabled in the Parliament be withdrawn and that the government ensure measures for the well-being of the workers.
The Bhadra Samiti submitted a memorandum to the sub-divisional officer in Bhadra containing the demand that the bills be withdrawn. The representatives of the participating workers signed the memorandum with great enthusiasm and with their banners held aloft and shouting slogans vigorously, they presented the memorandum to the authorities.
