Lenin and the Struggle to Construct Socialism

Dear Editor,

I wish to express my gratitude for publishing the article titled “On the occasion of the 151st Birth Anniversary of Lenin: II: Lenin and the Struggle to Construct Socialism” on the CGPI website on 16th June 2021. The article is inspiring and provides much valuable learning which are useful for us communists in the contemporary world. I would like to mention a few of the learnings and my understanding in the hope that my thinking and ideas will get validated if correct or corrected if wrong.

I learnt that while taking any stand for example supporting or opposing the war one must consider the objective conditions surrounding it. If the war is going to advance the aim of the proletariat, then it must be supported.

I learnt from the way the middle peasants were won over that it is sometimes necessary to take a few steps back to leap ahead successfully.

I learnt that professionalism and the attitude of getting the work done (but not at any cost) are positive features of capitalism and should be accepted and applied in our work.

I learnt that that it is one of the most important tasks to oppose any kind of factionalism and pay very close attention to and take painstaking efforts towards building party unity.

I learnt the importance of the slogan “Workers of the world, unite” and the strength and the inspiration it carries. We communists are internationalists and there is not even an inhabited single place on the earth where the alliance with the proletariat cannot be formed.

Overall, the article is very inspiring and neatly summarizes Leninism in action. It is our duty to apply these crucial learnings to the current times and advance the struggle for proletarian revolution.

Red Salute!
