Sir,
Sir,
I would like to enthusiastically join the call of the Central Committee of the CGPI entitled “The Guilty must be Punished! Communal nature of the State points to the Necessity for its Reconstitution!’’ issued on December 4, 2012 on the eve of the twentieth anniversary of the barbaric acts of the ruling circles in the destruction of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya and their organizing genocidal attacks on Muslims. The entire conflagration was organized and abetted by the two main bourgeois parties of the country who sponsored and trained gangs of hoodlums and whose activities were backed by security forces. The atmosphere of communal terror had been created by these parties as a background for them to launch a round of reforms and to embark on a new direction for the country’s economy. It would have been impossible to launch this programme without first destroying the unity of the people of India who have resisted tooth and nail this change in direction.
All the above is possible only because the most Machiavellian tactics are those that are favored by the Indian ruling circles. There are episodic eruptions of such activities which are made possible by the fact that there is no mechanism to bring the organizers of these activities to justice. The very forces that organized these activities continue to sit in the highest levels of Government and the State machinery. The Courts are powerless, by design, to bring the guilty to justice. In fact, if it had been possible to bring them to justice, the system would not have carried on for this long and could not have got this far. It is therefore logical that the people of India should ask for a system that is different from the present one, which brings nothing but misery and destruction.
Sincerely,
S. Nair, Kochi
