Anti-Imperialist forces resolve to throw imperialists out of Asia

We denounce the decision of the Manmohan Singh government to send the Indian Army to Afghanistan to "train" the puppet Afghan army, set up by the US imperialists, to attack the Afghan people's anti-imperialist national liberation struggle. We consider this as an excuse to intervene in Afghanistan against our own brothers and sisters.

We believe that the fountainhead of terrorism worldwide is US imperialism.

A draft of the Land Acquisition and Relief & Rehabilitation Bill (LARR) was approved by the Cabinet and tabled in Parliament on September 7, 2011 and referred to a Parliamentary Standing Committee on September 15. The Standing Committee is to submit its report on the draft in 3 months.

Our struggle is not a struggle for a mere wage-hike of any one section of workers, but is a struggle for our dignity and right to organise. We struggle also more importantly for the contract workers among us, whose insecurity and precarious condition of existence is a burning issue before the entire labouring people of the country today, which puts the very framing of the available labour laws into question. To break our unity and resolve, the management of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Manesar is continuing to indulge in anti-worker activities and increasingly harass us with the absolute complicity of the state administration.

“We will feel safer when US forces leave” was the unanimous sentiment expressed by people of Afghanistan, who gathered to protest against the invasion of their country by the US, 10 years ago on October 7, 2011. The protestors clearly wanted the immediate withdrawal of US and other foreign troops from their country.

The on-going protests in several cities across the US against Wall Street converged into anti-war protests on the anniversary of the US invasion of Afghanistan.
