The Fourth Congress of the Communist Ghadar Party of India was convened in the last week of October, 2010.
The Fourth Congress consisted of delegates from all across the country and from Indians resident abroad. The majority of delegates were from the working class. About half of them were less than 25 years of age and about a third of them were women.
The Report to the Fourth Congress was presented by Comrade Lal Singh on behalf of the Central Committee elected by the Third Congress. It was discussed at length and adopted by the Congress. It has been edited for publication by the decision of the Fourth Congress.
The Fourth Congress elected the new Central Committee which held its fi rst meeting and re-elected Comrade Lal Singh as the General Secretary and Comrade Prakash Rao as the Spokesperson of the Party.
This publication also contains the Resolutions adopted by the Fourth Congress.

Workers resist factory goons
Workers of Ankur Udyog Ltd, a factory in the Bargadwa industrial area of Gorakhpur, were attacked by hired goondas of the management on May 3, 2011. The attack was organized by the factory owner to "teach the workers a lesson" for participating in a May Day rally. The capitalists association of Gorakhpur was incensed with the large scale participation of workers in the May Day rally in defiance of the dictate of the capitalists.
Condemn state repression of farmers
The Communist Ghadar Party of India condemns the brutal repression unleashed by the state against the farmers of village Bhatta-Parsaul in Greater Noida, and in several other villages along the proposed expressway connecting Delhi via NOIDA to Agra and Aligarh.
Millions of workers celebrate May Day throughout the world
The May Day demonstrations and rallies organised throughout the world show the feeling of solidarity of the workers worldwide, their resolve to fight for their rights and those of other toiling people while reflecting their growing realisation that the overthrow of the capitalist system and setting up a system where the toilers are the real rulers is a necessary condition for ending all the woes of unjust war, poverty, deprivation and injustice that pervades the world today.
I support the air India pilots strike
The Delhi High Court ordered the striking pilots back to work by declaring the strike illegal, and is initiating contempt proceedings since its order was not obeyed. It has remarked that if its orders are not obeyed, then it would lead to anarchy and a discrediting of the institution, and then everyone would do as they liked. Why does not the Court also ask this of the management, and in particular of the MD, Mr. Arvind Jadhav? The latter has now been named in several allegations amounting to corruption of the worst sort, including those listed in the article, and more recently in the sale of valuable land to private players.

Terrorism as a preferred tactic of imperialist geo-politics was first introduced in our region by the two superpowers, US imperialism and Soviet social-imperialism. After the expulsion of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, the American and British imperialists and their intelligence agencies, the CIA and MI5, became the principal sponsors of terrorist groups in west and south Asia, using them to topple regimes, infiltrate popular movements and destroy nations in their drive for unquestioned world domination.
