Israel’s utter contempt of the ICJ and world opinion

On May 24, the United Nation’s International Court of Justice (ICJ) issued an order for Israel to immediately stop its invasion of Rafah. This followed the launching of the latest military offensive by Israel on Rafah starting May 7.

Israel has continued its relentless attacks on Rafah in blatant defiance of the ICJ order. Relief camps sheltering the Palestinians forced to flee from the other parts of Gaza are being systematically attacked.

Fire in Rajkot game zone kills 33 people

At least 33 people, including at least nine children, are reported to have been burnt alive in a fire that engulfed TRP game zone in Rajkot, Gujarat, in the evening of 25 May, 2024. Several others are reported injured.

The Communist Ghadar Party of India extends its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.

Mazdoor Ekta Committee (MEC) has been actively campaigning for the right to pension, as part of these agitations. As part of this campaign, MEC organised a meeting on the subject ‘Pension is Our Right’ on May 12, 2024.
