Television news channels keep referring the current mass agitation at the Delhi borders as a protest by Punjab farmers.  This is deliberate disinformation.  It contradicts the fact that the protestors include tens of thousands from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Dear Editor, I have been reading the non-stop coverage of the peasant struggle and the news of protests on your website. I thank you for publishing the statements and the news around the issue, which clearly explain why the farmers are protesting and all the support that they are receiving

I am writing in reference   to the  article   “Successful Dilli Chalo Campaign- lakhs of peasants enter Delhi “ , which appeared on 29/11/2020.

As the article says, 27^th of November 2020 is a victory day for the peasants and it is also a victory day for the people of our country.

The article ‘Successful Dilli Chalo campaign – lakhs of peasants enter Delhi’ gives a clear update about the farmers’ united protest and a revealing analysis of the reasons behind the recent passing of the three anti-peasant laws and the Electricity (Amendment) Bill. The state and its media wants people to believe that farmers do not know what is good for them.

The people of our country do not want war with China or with any other country as it is not in our interest. Friendship with our neighbours is in the best interest of our country as well as of the neighbouring countries.

Dear Editor, I am writing this letter in response to the recent focus articles on the “Pharmaceutical Industry”. Both the articles expose the super exploitative and never ending profit making interests of the Pharma industry. It exposes how the current pandemic and people’s miseries are used by the big companies

I am writing in response to the important and topical article entitled `Pharmaceutical Industry and the Super-Exploitation of Workers’ dated 14-10-2020 and carried on the internet edition of MEL.  It is an important piece of educational writing that shows how the growth of specific industries takes place under the conditions of capitalism, and serves as an example of such phenomena. 

The article “The Delhi riots conspiracy case” explains clearly that the people who raise their voices for the legitimate political and economic demands are treated as criminals. The CAA/NRC protests united people of different religious faiths, women and youth against the discriminatory Act and also against the various atrocities of the government.
