I am writing in response to the article entitled `Lessons from the National Emergency declared 45 years ago: The “democratic” Indian Republic is a tool of Monopoly Capitalist Dictate’, carried in the July 1-15, 2020 issue of MEL. 

I am writing in response to the article entitled `The lockdown has created a massive crisis of jobs and livelihood’ carried in the July 1-15, 2020 web-edition of MEL. 

I am very thankful to you for carrying the article entitled `On the 36th Anniversary of Operation Blue Star:  Lessons from the army assault on the Golden Temple’ to mark the atrocity that took place on the 6th of June, 2020, in the web-edition of MEL.

The article on George Floyd’s murder and the ensuing protests across the United States and the world titled “Brutal killing of African American in USA” highlights the importance of people’s unity against oppression.

I am writing to thank you for the article entitled `IL&FS scam – Collusion at the highest levels’ carried in the June 15-30, 2020 issue of the online version of MEL.

I wish to write a few lines about the article, “Resolutely oppose US interference” that appeared in the June 1, 2020 issue of Mazdoor Ekta Lehar. This article is very appropriate, right and timely.

Being connected to farming closely, I have seen how the conditions of farmers have been going from bad to worse year after year for many decades. The simple and rightful demand of farmers of MSP for crop procurement to be fixed at 1.5 times of total production cost, has been ignored by every successive government.

I am writing in response to the article entitled `Package for industries and businesses:  Acceleration of “Privatization and Concentration of Capital’ carried in the June 1-15 web-edition of MEL.  This is an extremely important article.

Lakhs of people had hit the streets. The lack of money and jobs had forced them to set out on foot. On the borders of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh there was a traffic jam of fifty kilometres in which there were trucks carrying only labourers and their families.
