Workers, through their labour, contribute to society during the years they work. It is the duty of society to ensure that they are taken care of in their old age, or when they suffer injuries and are unable to work any longer.

Kerala High Court rules that government employees cannot go on strike
On 28th March 2022, a division bench of the Kerala High Court passed an order declaring a strike by government employees illegal. It called upon the Kerala government to ban the strike.
