The kisan leaders have consistently demanded the immediate reopening of the Shambhu barrier on the Punjab-Haryana border. They are determined to go to Delhi with their tractors and trolleys if and when the barricades at Shambhu are removed, to put forth their demands before the government. It is the democratic right of kisans to do so. The working class and working people, and all democratic minded people are one with the kisans in their just struggle.

Responding to a petition filed by the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Association for Democratic Reforms and Common Cause, a three judge bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice S. A. Bobde, declined to grant a stay on the electoral bonds scheme. The Court gave the Central Government and the Election Commission two weeks’ time to file a reply to the petitions.

On 9th November, 2019, a five judge bench of the Supreme Court gave its ruling on a property dispute concerning the land on which Babri Masjid had stood before it was demolished in 1992. It has declared that the land belongs to Ram Lalla Virajman, the idol of baby Ram. It has directed the Central Government to establish a Trust to build a Ram Temple at the site.
