Our immediate task is to further strengthen our unity and escalate the struggle against all attacks on our livelihood and rights. At the same time, we must recognise that it is not enough to wage only this resistance struggle. As Karl Marx taught us, we must not forget that we “are fighting with effects, but not with the causes of those effects” (Wages, Price and Profit). We have to organise to use our strength to put an end to this condition of being an exploited class, by replacing bourgeois rule by workers’ and peasants’ rule.

Inquilab Zindabad is a slogan that has inspired many generations of workers in our country. The time has come to convert it from a slogan into a program of action.

Condemn the attacks on Bengali people in the name of being “illegal migrants”

By no stretch of imagination can Bengalis be called foreigners in India. Like other people of our country, they too have been migrating to different states in search of a livelihood.
The campaign against “illegal Bangladeshi migrants” is part of the agenda of the ruling Indian bourgeoisie, to keep the working people divided. It serves the bourgeoisie to consolidate its hold on the working masses and enhance its profits through their super-exploitation.
The working class and all progressive people must resolutely oppose this anti people campaign and defend their unity.

India revokes transhipment facilities to Bangladesh:
A hostile act against a neighbouring country

The termination of the transhipment facility is causing major disruption in Bangladesh’s trade with third countries, including the export of readymade garments to Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar. These form a major part of Bangladesh’s exports.
The Indian government’s decision to withdraw this facility is a hostile act against the government and people of Bangladesh.
