Like other organisations, KEC has, through mass campaigns, successfully achieved certain station-specific demands such as increasing the height of platforms, strengthening foot-over bridges, and getting new ones sanctioned in Badlapur, a station in the suburbs of Mumbai.

On the crisis in Nepal

Statement of the Central Committee of the Communist Ghadar Party of India, 20 September 2025


The situation points to the necessity for the communists in Nepal to draw the appropriate lessons from historical experience. The most important lesson is that the empowerment of the working people and their liberation from exploitation is not possible within the parliamentary system. It is possible only if communists lead the struggle for replacing bourgeois parliamentary democracy with proletarian democracy, a system in which workers and peasants exercise decision-making power. Only then can the economy be reoriented to fulfil the needs of the entire people, instead of enriching an exploiting minority.
